IPSTAR Broadcast / Multicast enables broadcasting to many viewers simultaneously for improved bandwidth efficiency and lower cost. The service is particularly suitable for live broadcast or broadcast of pre-recorded push-content to home users, training for corporate, enterprise, and government users, and distance learning applications.

- IPSTAR user terminal supports IGMP V.2 Multicast Protocol
- Enables simultaneous Multicast IP streaming and Internet use, video conferencing or Voice over IP (VoIP) applications
- Supports industry standard IP streaming formats such as Windows Media Player, Real Player, and QuickTime
- Live broadcast or broadcast of push-content
- One-way broadcast to all user terminals or pre-assigned terminals only
- Simultaneous two-way unicast and multicast traffic
