Foshan Firemen Speak of IPSTAR Life-Saving Benefits
The Foshan Firefighting Bureau in Guangdong, China, has equipped its fire vehicles with a state-of-the-art on-the-move image transmission system enabled by IPSTAR. The fire vehicles are deployed at major fire incidents to coordinate safe and efficient responses in dealing with fire emergencies and other rescue efforts.
Emergency Communications via IPSTAR
Within minutes of arriving at the designated destination, firefighters are now able to rapidly initiate a two-way communication exchange of voice and video between them and the command center to receive crucial information in real-time. IPSTAR relays the video of the actual fire situation to the command center, making it easier for the fire squad team members to assess the situation. Foshan firefighters are quick to point out the life-saving benefits that IPSTAR brings with it, “Previously, firemen used radios to report the fire situation to the command center. It was very difficult to assist the situation back then without actually seeing it.”
