Congratulations! Dr. Nongluck Phinaintisart, President of Shin Satellite Public Co. Ltd., recently embarked on her two-year term as president of the Asia-Pacific Satellite Communications Council, based in Seoul, South Korea.

Shin Satellite recently inaugurated a new IPSTAR Representative Office in Hanoi, Vietnam. Opened on January 15, 2006, the office will facilitate IPSTAR service deployment and support for its partners and customers in the Vietnam market.

Approximately 70,000 sets of IPSTAR User Terminals have been distributed to-date and to many countries including Thailand, China, India, Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam, Myanmar, Laos, Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Cambodia.
